Akinyi lost her chicken through an attack that killed 16 of her chicken. The chickens had deep bites in the necks. She sought to establish the root cause of this through our forum - https://mbas.africa/community . An animal expert on our forum was able to identify the source of the attack. Akinyi was advised on how to secure her farm from such breaches. While diseases are the leading cause of chicken mortality, attacks by predators are also prevalent in rural areas.
